Mount Gunbad once contained one of the greatest and wealthiest Dwarven mines in the World. Located on the Eastern edge of the World's Edge mountains, the mine was the only known source of Brynduraz - a gem much prized by Dwarf jewellers.
The mines were attacked long ago by both Orc and Goblin invaders from above, and Skaven from below. At the time the Warriors were sent there under the aegis of Grimcrag Grunnson, it was held by the Black Fang Orcs under the command of the Warlord Gorgut.
